We teach American Kenpo as pioneered by Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker and further refined by Senior Master Paul Mills. This system — now called Paul Mills Legacy Kenpo, since his passing — represents a dynamic, ever-evolving lineage, and we are proud to be part of the Parker-Mills lineage and tradition. Our online training exists to honor and extend this legacy, making it accessible to students around the world.
Will you be learning anything different from our in-person students?
Not at all.
Aside from the lack of physical in-class contact, you will receive the same curriculum, techniques, drills, and instruction as our in-person students. We make no distinction in quality or content — only in delivery format.
Whether you’re attending in-person or online, you will:
- Learn from the same structured belt curriculum.
- Practice the same techniques and self-defense principles.
- Develop the same skills at the same pace as our local students.
Our head instructor has been teaching American Kenpo via Zoom for several years, to both color belts and black belts, and is highly skilled at translating complex material into an effective video-based format. While online training presents unique challenges, so does in-person instruction — and we’re well-prepared to help you succeed in either setting.
