We’ve carefully designed our remote curriculum to ensure students can progress through ranks with confidence while maintaining integrity and quality. Here’s how advancement typically works:
- Yellow Belt – Learn and test online.
- Orange Belt – Learn and test online.
- Purple Belt – Learn online, but must test in person. We can assist with travel arrangements or help coordinate testing at one of our partner schools near you.
- Blue Belt – Learn and test online.
- Green Belt – Learn and test online, though in-person testing is strongly recommended if possible.
- Brown & Black Belts – Typically require in-person testing before a Board of Examiners. Online-only testing is rarely sufficient for these ranks, but we’ll work with you on exceptions and help coordinate your testing at regional events.
